My 77/17 shot horrible! 3" to 4" groups at 100 yards. But the gun is one of the best looking and handling 17's out there. All you have to do is replace the barrel with a volquartsen, polish the trigger and free float the barrel. Also I had my barrel cyrogenically treated. with a Leupold VXII 4x-12x, i can hit a DIME off the bench EVERY TIME i pull the trigger!! Also the 17 will produce clean kills out to 150 yards if you hit them right. hogbuster223
