The Garmin 12 is an anexpensive and easy way to get into GPSI steered away from the basic Etrex Garmin model because for 30 dollars more you can store a few more waypoints plus some other small options.I was up and running in about 30 minutes/With "selective availabilty" turned off (that applies to all receivers), I got to my tree stand within 25 feet in total darknessBe patient in very dense woods, try to get to open cover, but very durable unit as well.
