As I tend to get lost in my backyard, and have not hit the lottery yet, I searched for a inexpensive gps. The e-trex at $119 fit perfectly. The unit has exceeded my wildest expectations. Very easy to use, very accurate, and the two AA batteries last over 18 hours. Can be hooked into your computer with $99 mapping program, and $30 (?) connection. Accuarcy at times within 15 feet. (If I can get within 15 feet of the house, I can find it.) It has worked in the spring woods quite well, along with 40 miles out into the ocean. Great product. You can enter numbers, names, and icons. Fits in a shirt pocket.
