Hello, the bsa line of scopes are not a bad deal. I would not try to tell everyone they would compare to a Leupold, or Burris/for the money and if you are just a casual deer hunter they are good.never had one let me down yet on a hunt,I know there is always a first time for everything but i always bring a spare in case. I've had my BSA for a few years now and its going out of state again in a few weeks. just for the fun of it I had an older model BSA huntsman a while back and wanted to see what it would take,it was my backup scope. I put it under water for about 5 minutes and it held tight no leaks/not bad
