If a person were in the market for a rifle, especially in the caliber's of .338 WM and up. You can't beat the price and quality of the Ruger MK11. The only modification was the stock (wood), cut and honed to length of pull. The accuracy and shooting quality was excellent. I have not used in the field, but wouldn't hesitate using in any application.
