This particular rifle is the most accurate I have ever owned. It acheived .5 moa 3 shot groups with federal premium ammo, when the BOSS was properly dialed in. It's recoil non-existent, being slightly more than a .22 mag! I topped it with a Leupold 4-12 and have killed the majority of game(whitetails, coyotes, woodchucks) at distances from 50 to 300 yards. The 4 bucks I have shot with it dropped on impact(all at 200+ yards). The BOSS makes it louder than that of a conventional rifle, but I have shot it in hunting situations without hearing protection and it is bearable. I'll echo what another submission said about the barrel being too short(22"), I wish it had a 26" barrel to get maximum ballistics out of the .25-06 cartridge. Either way this is my "go to" gun, it gives me all the confidence in the world that I can hit what I am aiming at even at extended distances. Though I have taken some long shots, I have yet to miss a deer with this rifle.
