This stand climbs easily & quietly, the problems I had were the shrink tubing wore quickly off chains & when shooting sharply to the sides & rear my lower bow wheel hit the arms on the seat/hand climber section, I tried to use the stand with the seat lower to the platform to avoid this & it made it difficult to stand up without some added movement.
