The first time I shot the Mueller scope, I was extremely impressed. Light pick up was great, target clarity was awesome, and I was grouping 1/4 inch at 100 yds free handed. The rifle is a Savage 116 30-06, Timney trigger (2lb pull), with Leupold mounts, and a muzzle break. The kick is equivalent to a .243. I took it out hunting, and had a perfect shot at a bear. I shot five shots total at about 100 yards. Never hit the bear. The bear just stood there looking at me as if I didn't know what I was doing. He sure wasn't worried about being shot at. I took the gun to the range and I just about went insane trying to figure out where I was hitting at 100 yards. I put it in a sight vice, and my grouping was a 5 to 8 inch triangle at 50 yards. At 100 yards, I was making a triangle that spread out about 15 inches, with only 1 out of 3 shots hitting paper. I am currently sending the scope back. They offered to upgrade it to their Tak II, but they were only going to credit me $100 on my scope, and I would end up spending another $169 for the upgrade. I was not willing to spend any more money on the risk that it is the product line, instead of a one time incident. I will tell you how well they honor their warranty, and how the replacement works.ChowDawg
