I Bought Encore with a laminated thumb hole Stock with a SS Barrel in a .50 cal MZL. I'm very pleased with this gun, breech system very nice. No backfire, that means always clean scope. I have a silver scope on it, not even a little black spot from the primer firing. I would recommend this gun to anybody that like a all season rifle/muzzleloader/shotgun. Very accurate, reliable, good quality.Pay once for a gun like this, and be happy all your life. It's worth the $$$.
