Last year I finally made the jump to a Mathews after seeing my dad's for the last 10 yrs. First off, I want to say that I was always the guy that said "You don't need to spend all that money on a bow. Mathews can't be that much better." I now am a firm believe that yes, they are that good. That is just my opinion, I am not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers. Most of today's bows are all well built and perform nicely. I do believe the Switchback is the smoothest, quietest, and best performing bow I have ever touched. I pull about 68lbs comfortably with my Switchback where I was pulling 60 with my last bow. I attribute that to the Straightline Cobra cam. There is no noticable shock during shooting. I guess there is a little truth to what my dad says "Why do you think everyone says their bow shoots just as good as a Mathews?" Like I said guys, this is JUST MY OPINION!!
