My Dad gave me this gun with a cheap Simmons 8 point scope for Christmas. At 50 yards using Winchester 240gr JSPs you can put them through the same hole or have holes touching. At 100 yards you can put them in a 1 inch group. Make sure to sight it in at 100 yards if you are using a scope. The shots will be about 1 inch high at 50 yards if you do this but, you're still in the kill zone. Remington 240gr sjhp's work well too. They both have over 1000 lbs of energy at 100 yards and make a big hole in deer but I prefer the soft points for feral hogs. It will also shoot .44 specials but they drop really bad so spend the extra $4 and go with the mags.This is an excellent deer gun for brushy areas but I wouldn't shoot at anything past 100 yards. The .44s drop pretty bad past that.
