I bought a Timney trigger (from Cabela's) for a Ruger M-77 (with the tang safety), and had the gunsmiths at Gander Mountain (Washington, PA) install it. It has a lot of creep that can not be taken out by the gunsmiths. They were able to set it at a 3 pound pull, but it is still worse than the Ruger trigger.I have had Timney triggers on other rifles and have not had this problem. I contacted Cabela's through their web site a few days ago, but have had no response yet.
