Recommended: Not for Slugs

Used for about 5 seasons with 3" magnum sabot slugs. This gun worked well at first, but after several seasons it started jamming, and now it jams EVERY TIME you chamber a shell from the magazine. I've read some of the other postings on this gun and they seem to have had good luck, but I noticed they are shooting shot-shells, not heavy loads like 3" magnum slugs. Maybe I've got a bad gun ... or maybe the Model 500 just can't handle the beating of a south-eastern PA deer season.PS: HATE the flip up rear sight, had it welded into place.
