It is really a comfortable stand once you get up the tree. The drawback is the climbing procedure. Sitting on the footrest puts you in too low a position to use your foot climber. It was so strenuos a job that I finally held on to the side of the climber to finish climbing the tree. I have a friend who also has this treestand and the same problem. I e-mailed Summit and never received a reply. Evidently their customers are not very important.
