This is the first Rifle I've owned, but I have used rifles for years. It shoots fairly accurately for the price, is light, and feels good in the hands, but it is full of design problems. Right away you notice that the hollow stock feels like it wouldn't take much of a beating without the sides splitting. This can be fixed by filling it with that foam spray, but who wants to do that to a brand new gun? Then, when I take it to the range to sight it in, the last round always jams against the magazine box. I call Remington and they say it is the spring and follower. I wait a week for the parts only to find out that it doesn't fix it. I call them back and they say it's the magazine box. I wait another week for it and now that doesn't fix it either. I call them again and they tell me I have to pay shipping to send it to them and that it will be a month and a half before I get it back..... Why should I pay shipping if they aren't smart enough to test the gun before they ship it? This gun is a piece of junk! As soon as I get it back from the factory I'm trading it in on another brand of rifle. One that actually works!
