The BAR I chose is chambered in 30-06 and equipped with a boss. With a Leupold 3.5-10 and Remington 165 grain Core-lokts it shoots 1 moa. This rifle is very handsome, the wood is very pretty and the blueing is top notch, with the boss/muzzle break there is very little recoil which actually allows you to see the deer go down in the scope. The only drawbacks I can see with this rifle is the weight, mine is quite heavy with a scope and the BAR is pretty much a pain to clean compared with a bolt action. The advantages of this rifle far outweigh any negatives though in my opinion. Accurate, dependable, good looking and fast follow up shots, this rifle has all of these traits. If you are thinking about buying one of these rifles, run, dont walk you wont be dissapointed.
