The Benelli SBE is a superbly designed firearm, except for the action. More precisely where the action sits. I have used my benelli since November of 1995, it functioned flawlessly up until the winter of 1999. During this time it failed to feed, and was rough to manually operate. I found that the steel bolt was wearing into the aluminum receiver at an angle. After a few years of frustration I finally fixed it with a dremel and a grinding wheel. So far it works....but I always carry a back up now...something people normally do with unreliable equipment. You don't always get performance for the price. The little insert that fits into the top of the bolt through wich the firing pin travels also busted on a duck hunt in 1997 and I was rendered gunless. Thanks Benelli
