Beware!!! The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag shotgun is a big rip off.I bought my gun about a month and a half ago, and Ive already had to send it in for service. When I took my firearm for a gunsmith to service, he refused. He told me that if I was to have the problem fixed, it would just happen again! I was told this same thing from 10 different gunsmiths!!! The problem with this gun is that after only about 70 rounds, the timing will become way off on your elevator (the part in which the shell is lifted into the chamber with.) When I went to the store and told them that I wanted a refund, they refused! They told me that my only chance of receiving a refund would be for them to send it back to the factory. Once Mossberg received an email complaint in which I emailed them, this is what they sent in return: "Please be advised, that if your firearm needs repair we will promptly repair it as necessary. Please be advised refunds are not a common practice. If you would like to send us a detail note as to what the problems are that you were having along with the serial number of your shotgun we will see to it that the repair man checks out all your concerns as well as request a rush for you. Please be advised, we do not have any common problems with our firearms." It has been well over a week, and I have yet to hear from Mossberg regarding and type of repair, replacement or refund. If I would have known that the 835 was so unreliable, I would have never thought of purchasing one. This is for Mossberg: "Please be advised, I am very unhappy with your products!!"
