I recently hunted a drop camp with a few friends from Cabela's October 2009. I was happy with all aspects of the camp that was set up for us. The meals were excellent and all gear was in good condition. The camp was placed in a valley where I didn't see another hunter all week. I harvested a nice bull the first hour of the opening day. One of the other hunters shot a big cow the third day of our hunt and the other didn't fill his tag. I also shot my first coyote the second day of the hunt making for a great add on. After notifying the lodge that I had shot an elk Sherri was at the drop camp within hours. I was pleased at how quick she had came to get my elk out. Great drop camp for a couple of friends who want to save a few bucks by doing most of the work/hunt themselves.
