Edwin bills the elk hunt as 100% shot opportunity. I was the only hunter that saw an elk. I got lucky. If you go, you gotta go the first week or the last week. The quantity of elk seen is minimal. I was the only hunter to take an elk and in 2009, through the first 4 weeks out of 6 only two other elk were taken. Basically, a 25% success ratio. Mine was the largest elk taken in camp for the year. The mule deer are small and not worth paying since you have a lesser chance of getting an elk. They are part of the Clare Prophet cult and are trying to sell the business. They use a TON of garlic in the food. I like garlic, but the cookies tasted like garlic and everyone was sick. Even the guides won't eat the food.
