I booked a hunt with Nick for the second week of the November 2010 season. Nick picked me up at the airport for the two hour ride back to the lodge. He was very informative about the way he hunted and the type of the stands he used. He made sure every day to check the wind for the right direction so that you were in right stand for that given day. I never hunted the same stand twice while i was there. All the stands were in great shape with the trails marked to and from with bright eyes and flagging tape. Nick's guides were up to the task of getting you out and picked me up as well as checking on you. My trip was great except for the record rain fall that was happening in Iowa at the time. It rained four out of the seven days I was there. The deer sign was good just crappy weather with a lot standing corn. It was a great trip for waiting three years for a Iowa tag. I would go back if i ever get drawn again.
