I hunted im mid september in unseasonablly hot weather... the animals were there at night. Joe had the trail cam pics to prove it. If his property isnt producing he will go out of his way to take you places he thinks you will see animals; public or private. The elk hunt is an extremely physical hunt...only one guy hiked all five days out of ten hunters. It is very hard. This is a hunting lodge not a vacation spot! The quality of animals on his property were above and beyond my expectations. Im going back for late season GIANT whitetail.
