My 2008 trip was my 3rd time with Travis. We hunted the last week of November for Elk and Mule deer from his "ranch hunt." We saw large numbers of animals both elk and mule deer. Saw a few whitetails too. Saw a few 150 class mulies. Saw some huge bulls but they were too far away. Safety is important to me and Travis runs a safe camp. I've take a 5X5 elk, 3X3 mulie and 4X4 mulie. I recommend Ford Creek. Hunting does occur on public land so you may see other hunters during the ranch hunts. You won't see another hunter in the Bob Marshall.
