I hunted the fall of 2007 & 2008 at Auld Reekie. My group picked Auld Reekie in 2007 after a pretty extensive search, which required meeting several criteria. Urs and Diane run a nice lodge and make you feel at home. These were my only two big game hunts, so I don’t have anything else to compare, but overall I was very happy. I made a poor shot on a bear in 2007 that wasn’t recovered, however, I was successful in 2008. In talking with Urs, he limits the number of hunters every season. He tries to take around twenty total and no more than eight any given week. All the stands I hunted out of were well constructed and positioned.
