Overall Impression: good hunt for dry conditions

I killed my first mule deer and the other hunter in camp killed his first mule deer the same day. My buck wasn't a monster, but it's the biggest buck I ever killed and a picture of me and my buck are on the front page of Kevin's website. Kevin encouraged me to keep hunting for a cow elk. He got me a land tag and I killed a cow elk as well on the next day.
