When you visit www.southtexastrophyhunting the first things you see are the POW emblem, the American flag, the Cross and the Fish sign. Don't be fooled. You're about to be "taken to the bank". You read about a $1000 refund you'll get if you don't kill a trophy buck. You will get that before you leave, but so will the 12 other hunters in camp with you for your 3 day hunt. Unless they bought into the "upgrade" which is pitched as soon as you get there. After 2 days of not seeing any bucks, the upgrade becomes "a trash buck" from Charlie's ranch as a way to meet the guarantee, thus not having to refund Money. Do the math, that's $14,400 every 3 days, after the refunds. He's got it figured out. He runs an huge number of hunters through, no wonder we didn't see any bucks.Want references ? I've got names and addresses of our hunting party. Don't make the same mistake we did.Pictures too, you should see the one of the big field rat between my sons feet in one of Charlie's run down ground blinds.
