Overall Impression: Great

Given the remote location of the hunt the camp was rustic but more than comfortable.The food was plentiful and appetizing but not fancy. The fishing was unreal. Caribou were overabundant initially then we had to hunt the last part of the week...the best of all worlds. The prearranged air transport was smooth, efficient and went without a hitch. There were some seasoned guides(like mine) and some learning(as for others in our group). We were able to 'pitch in' and help with the 'chores'. This made us feel more a part of the hunt because we are use to doing for ourselves. Hot shower was available. Evening chats and videos from the day made for very pleasant camp time. Sleep cabins were warm, dry and roomy. Clothes dried quickly with the oil heat. Generator provided light until bedtime. The outfitters recommendations withrespect to fishing equipment and firearms selection is worth listening to.
