Mike runs a great camp. His hunts are semi guided and supplemented with aerial photos, topo maps, and any information on recent/historical deer sightings in the area. Mike works hard and is truly a great guy. This hunt is not designed for the guy who wants everthing to be done for them already(The type of hunt where all you have to do is pull the trigger). Mike's hunts are for the hunter who takes pride in scouting, stragetically placing his stand, and putting the time required to make it all come together. I hunted with Mike for 3 days during the 2007 season. Every hunt produced sightings of numerous deer (most of them bucks). One morning, I watched 22 deer walk withing shotgun range of my stand (8 were antlered bucks). I was holding out with hopes of a 150 class, but unfortunately things did not line up for me. Mike has quality land with quality deer. He provides a great hunt that is within most people's budget.
