Would Recommend: not if he was the last outfitt

Overall Impression: would not recommend to anybody

Our experience was very similar to the others on this website. This outfitter makes false promises and does not take care of business. We spent many hours waiting for float planes that were not even coming(not the fault of the plane company). After standing in the wind and rain for hours, no coffee, apology or actual acknowledgement was offered from the outfitter. Even the people that work for him do not like him. This is a dangerous trip for anyone with any type of medical condition, the satelite phone did not work. On the day of our departure, he would not send a float plane because his trophy hunters hadn't arrived and he refused to send an empty plane one way. The ripple effect of missing our booked hotel rooms and flights (there were 30 men from canada and the US)was frustrating and enraging. And when confronted, Jean-Pierre couldn't have care less. Any extra expenses incurred by the outfitters error was not rembursed, or even apologized for. If you are considering this hunt for yourself, PLEASE RECONSIDER! Jean-Pierre Bardou will take your money and RUN!
