Awesome spot and stalk hunt. Numerous bears daily.Guide Bob Peable outstanding all around woodsman w/incredible vision. Bob's wife was camp cook and her meals were top shelf and not easily prepared without alot of prep and effort. Only 2 hunters in camp my week and the next week too. I was one on one after the other hunter tagged out. He has gone there 4 times. I took 2 bears that week. They both squared six feet but we did see larger. Did see cinamon and one grizz. Very exciting hunt. On last day I took second bear which charged right at me from 40 yards. Bob and I both opened up on him and he dropped at six paces. Unbelievable!!! My ears are still ringing.Expect shots from 250 to 30 yards. All spot and stalk w/ 4x4 used to get to the endless clear cuts.
