Overall Impression: fair, felt was more of a do it yourself

Was very excited to go on this hunt initially. I do not define a good hunt as a succesful hunt. Total of 8 guys in our camp and all 8 of us are equally dissapointed. There were some nice deer spotted, I personally was not one of the lucky ones, actually I think most guys say some nice deer. Arived in camp, quick aerials photos and some real quick words about the hunt and land. Took a tour not more than an hour, only half of the hunters were in the vehicles with the guides. The hunters drove and followed the others. Dropped us back off at camp to go hunt and we never saw a guide again for the entire trip. Talked to him a few times on the phone and did not get much help or advice. We felt we were mislead and feel we did not get what we paid for according to Knupp's website what it states about their hunt. Hunt was a do-it-yourself with preset stands. Way to many details to get into and we are hunters that really do not ask for much, or expect very much. That is why we bought a Semi guided hunt instead of a fully guided. If we had known it was a do-it-yourself with preset stands then it would have been ok with us. No shooting lanes, stands in bad locations. Have been hung for the last five years and owner admitted he has not sit every stand. To this day owner offered no resolutions to our comlaints and just defends himself instead of trying to set things straight. Do your homework and choose your hunt wisely, whether it is with Knupp's or somebody else.
