This was a repeat hunt for myself and hunting partner. Collectively we seen for the week 31 moose, 19 caribou and 5 black bear. I was the only to come away with both tags filled but 1 shot and wounded bull and one missed cow doesnt help the numbers, the other guy seen moose everyday but was just very selective with shooting a moose and caribou. My guides experience and skills were the best I have ever seen as for big game hunting. The caribou activity the first week of Sept was a little slow but 70 degree weather doesnt help. This outfitter is 110% honest and does his best with putting hunters on moose and caribou. Last year I did recommend not buying a bear permit but after this season my attitude has changed. All I can say to future hunters considering this hunt, know your equipment and have the right equipment, plus know your ballistics!!!! Also BE IN TOP NOTCH HIKING SHAPE!!!!!
