Overall Impression: Over Priced and Over Rated

I hunted the North Camp the third week in November 2005 and mostly saw A LOT of small bucks, i.e., 110 inch 8 points and smaller. The other 8 hunters in the camp mostly saw the same but a nice nontypical that might go 160-170 was killed on the last day. All the other hunters killed bucks that were 130s or less and that was the biggest deer they saw. I got the impression after hunting sun up to sun down for 6 days that the area has been overhunted and the chances of seeing anything over 140 or extremely remote. The guides were friendly and hardworking but seemed to be clueless about what deer one might expect to see at the various stand locations.Weather conditions were good for most of the week. In fact, it was -5 degrees F the one morning we headed out.
