Our group was 4 rifle hunters for caribou only. MVO also guides for moose and bear, and we had sightings for all three (lots for moose). The hunt was an incredible experience. The people were very friendly, the guides were knowledgeable and worked hard for all of us. The camp is reasonably new and in very good shape with a generator for electricity, hot water, and was very comfortable overall. Do NOT plan on losing any weight - EXCELLENT homecooked meals.We looked at a number of operations before making our selection. MVO proved to be a great choice. We will be returning at some point, and would not hesitate to recommend them for anybody looking for a moose or caribou hunt in Newfoundland.
