Hunt dates: Sept. 18-24, 2005Safari Nordik performed above and beyond our expectations. Planning a caribou hunt such as this takes quite a lot of effort on the part of the customer and the outfitter and can be stressful to say the least. Safari Nordik personnel did everything in their power to ensure we had a safe and worry free experience. Our camp was comfortable and the food was excellent and plentiful. Everything promised to us was delivered and more. We had each harvested one bull early in the week, but only a few caribou came by our camp each day. Even though we had already harvested our guaranteed bulls, Safari Nordik moved us to another camp at the end of the week where there were thousands of animals. Aside from harvesting our second bull each, we were able to experience the phenomenon of the migration which was truly amazing. We greatly appreciated the effort put forth and after returning from the hunt are in awe of the outfitter’s ability to organize chaos with so many hunters coming and going each day, to keep track of where the animals are, and to ensure everyone was happy. This is a hunt we would repeat with this outfitter and commend all of the staff for their hard work both in front of and behind the scenes.
