Great if you like to road hunt for 5 days. No scouting for good hunting locations was done. It was just drive all day and hope a deer happens to be standing out when you go by. It was a very poorly run outfit full of unhappy people just putting in as little effort as possible. The food was great at most meals, kudos to the cooks. It was billed as a trophy rut hunt. The rut should be on in another 5 days, but not when we were there. There was the great comment by one of the guides to the outfitter about this being the third or fourth rut of the year, kind of insulting to hear from him. I was left very dissapointed in the whole experience, although the company of the other 9 hunters at the lodge made it bearable. I'll never book another guided hunt without doing my homework and checking references again.
