My guide Ray and I hunted hard for 5 days with no shooting opportunity so Dale extended the hunt for another day and I missed one in the morning and shot my 360 pound male in the last ten minutes of the hunt. Ray dragged the bear through the thickest brush, I've been in for years, with me clearing a path in front of him for 6 hours to get the bear out. Ray and Dale made it happen for me. Outstanding September 2003 Blackbear hunt.
