Would Recommend: No way

Overall Impression: Poorly run

When booking this hunt we were told to expect 5-6 people in camp, upon arrival we found there were eleven. The guides, although very nice people, told us they had never been to these woods. When five of us were sent to the outpost camp, there was no drinking water available. Nor was there any food to pack lunches during the ten hour stays on stand. Water arrived two days later (outfitter said it was a helpers fault). Equipment was in unexcusable condition, with all three outfitter quads breaking down and leaving us stranded on more than one occasion. When bears were shot, they were placed on an uncovered trailer and pulled through the mud. By the time they arrived at camp there was four inches of slop covering the animals. I have no doubt Jim means well but until conditions and equipment improve, I would not recommend this hunt to anyone. All of this was addressed prior to our departure and everything was blamed on one or another of his helpers. There are plenty of bear 'guides' out there- choose wisely.
