I have hunted with Ben four times now; three for bear and once for caribou. Without exception, I would say Ben and his staff go out of their way to insure a good time and a successful hunt for everyone. I have always had shots at decent bears up there, hunting with traditional archery tackle. (although the bear are not as large as here in NC; up there a 225 lb bear is a pretty good one). The food has always been great, the lodge clean and comfortable. Most of us who go each year with our group are traditional archers, and usually only one or two come back without bear, and even they have shot opportunities. Fishing was pretty good too, if you have time to do it.
