This was my fourth trip to Tatum Creek. Matt continues to run a first class operation. In fact, a new lodge is being built and will be ready for the 2004/2005 season. On this trip I hunted in early January, during the beginning of the rut. I saw two mature shooter bucks and a third that was very, very, close to meeting the 15-inch inside spread restriction. Had the situation been different, I would have harvested that buck (a big bodied 6-poiter).
