My first outfitted hunt was the best it could be without harvesting an animal. Would have had a shot at giant double drop tine buck had I not been eating a snickers bar at 10:30. Turned my head to look around before I got up and he was looking at me at 22 yards. He saw me grab my bow and just slowly walked out of my life. I never sat down the rest of the trip. I arrowed a nice 10 point later on but lost the blood trail. Tom and his guides helped me look for this deer almost the whole next day and they continued to look after I had left for home. Tom was great about it and was very supportive. Tom is just like one of the guys and really makes you feelat home. Can't wait till next year, 282 days to go!
