I booked a bowhunt Nov 3-7 2003 with this outfitter. After arriving at camp on the afternoon of the 2nd on Nov the guide took 4 of us hunters to the spots we would be hunting in the morning....After walking a short distance from the road in our street shoes and guide wearing his leather sole work boots we get to the tree stand and contaminate the area with human scent.A red flag went up about the guides experience......After a few days into the hunt I realized the outfitter only had 5-6 treestands in place and would set up a treestand and hunt it the same day. After hunting hard 11 hours in the treestand each day I only saw a a few deer and no bucks.By the fourth day of my hunt I was so disgusted with the lack of profesionalism and the lack of fresh undisturbed stand locations. With six others hunters in camp that week it didn't take long to burn out an area.Since this the outfitters first year in business no references were avaliable and I place the blame on myself for not going with a reputable outfitter with references.
