The accomadations are excellent. Bucks and does are young with very few mature animals sighted.White Oak has a monetary fine in place for harvesting immature animals or bucks with less than 8 points or less than 16" spread. Most of the animals do not meet this criteria. Morning hunts are conducted in timber so thick with undergrowth that the maximum shot opportunity would have been 30 to 40 yards. The lodge boasts of having more than 400 stands on 16,000 acres, but most of the stands are ladder type or very poor maintained shooting houses. This is certainly not a hunt with expectations of harvesting a trophy animal.
