Overall Impression: terrible

This hunt was bad and kept getting worse. To begin with the stands were right on the road.Baits were not even touched in most cases.Stands were squeaking everytime the wind blowed. We had to cut shooting lanes ourselves. We were supposed to have the camp to ourselves and when we arrived there were four more guys. 2 first time bear hunters killed their first bears on nite one. The guides came in and ran to the dinner table leaving the hunters and the bears outside and never offered to take a picture. The carcasses laid outside till noon the next day. Some never got to see a bear period. 14 hunters/ 4 bears. I know hunting is hunting but the way they treated the first timers made me sick. We dragged the bears off the truck and took the pictures. The guides never took a single picture or weighed a single bear. I was lucky and killed a decent bear(pure luck). One of the first time bear hunters asked the guide to skin his bear for a three quarter mount and the guide handed him the knife and said "you do it!" This was a very poor excuse for a hunt. I don't need to waste my vacation and money being treated this way.
