Overall Impression: good hunt

Hunted twice with Chuck this year. First in Oct. under tough conditions. Hot and dry with bucks is that ghost stage just before they start rutting. Saw lots of deer but the big bucks were tough to find. Saw three bucks that would push 140 b&c but could not get close enough for a shot. Chuck was so disappointed we didn't do well he offered us a free hunt. I returned in Dec. Passed up several decent deer(130 class) because I know what kind of deer Chuck has prowling around. Passed on a 150 mulie at 18 yards because I wanted a big whitetail. Messed up a chance at a 160 class whitetail (long story). Chuck offers a great bowhunt for an affordable price. He also has more Merriam Turkey's than any place I have ever been. I arrowed a 24lb tom with a 9 1/2" beard during the Oct. hunt. Chuck caters to small groups and offers personal service to his clients. He can be reached at (308)638-7320. Tell him I said hello.
