This was a "1 on 1 wilderness moose hunt". Well, we did have to fly in, too bad we didn't fly to a location with some moose. When I think of guided hunts I usually think of proactive hunting methods, not stand hunting. There were bulls in the area but they were not going to walk out to the lake shore where we sat for most of the hunt. The couple of trips we took into the timber were less than 1/4 mile. There were many meadows within an easy hike but we never went to them. Jim apparently only wants to kill moose where they can be loaded straight into a boat. I could have killed a bull in 2 days or less if I had been hunting on my own. Food was good, the cabin dry, and the scenery beautiful so if you just want a vacation this is your place. If you want to kill moose look somewhere else.
