Washington hunting areas. These areas boast outstanding hunting opportunities, and you don't have to enter a drawing to go hunting, because we have "guaranteed licenses". S.E. Idaho has long been famous for record-class mule deer. There are also trophy bull elk and excellent cougar (Mt. Lion) hunting opportunities. Forest grouse are abundant and the waters have great fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brook trout. Utah is another producer of trophy mule deer, elk, cougar, and moose. Our private ranch leases boast high deer populations with excellent hunting, and our public land hunt areas also offer a number of great hunting opportunities. We run close to 100% shooting opportunity on all of our Utah hunts most years. N.E. Washington has the largest whitetail population in the Pacific Northwest. Washington also has the most bear of the southern 48 states and our area usually has the highest harvest in the state. We also have excellent hunting for Merriam's Turkey, Shiras Moose, Elk, Sheep, Grouse and Waterfowl.  Your outfitter, Dale Denney, was born and raised hunting the mountains. In 1977 he began outfitting
and has slowly expanded the business over the years. Hunting is a full-time business, not just a sideline. BearPaw Outfitters takes it seriously but also keeps it fun for everyone.
